Cleaned Official Firmware Cube U30GT-H v1.04

I've created a patch file which will create my ROM using the original stock image. The reason I have done this is because the changes are so small it is not worth me uploading another 240mb file.


The instructions are as follows
1. Download and extract [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] zip to the same directory as the original ROM image with the name U30GT-H_Android4.1_V1.04_20120803.img
2. Run the batch file U30GT-H_Android4.1_V1.04_CLEANED.bat
3. Flash the resultant U30GT-H_Android4.1_V1.04_CLEANED.img file using the usual RKBatchTool


This ROM

• Adds root and Chainfire's SuperSU
• Jelly Bean bootanimation
• AOSP Calendar
• Fixes the flashplayer apk (missing the .apk extension in system apps oddly enough)
• Removes a bunch of chinese bloat and useless apps
• Removed ringtones and all but the default notification sound

Is the root a complete one (all permissions) which is compatible with titanium backup? Has this also been tested?

just tested and worked fine:

original rom hash (downloaded directly froms cube download site):

just flashed the cleaned image, and it works! no problems so far, exactly what i need...

and one feature also very important: - it defaults to english :)

ok found a bug... email app is missing... not everyone is using gmail today :(

can someone upload the needed .apk's from android 4.1 ?

In needed of more dev, especially for Jelly Bean.

1.04 is cube's official jelly bean rom :p

You should use "clean sheet" build.prop - i used Samsung and it worked for getting more gameloft games to work. But i think clean sheet is better...

Thanks for the Email apk but wondering if there was a Contacts app that was excluded? If not does anyone know if there is a Contacts app, similar to the one in Budadroid 0.0.1 ROM as I use my tablet for work and need contacts as well as email?

The stock contacts apks are there, I haven't touched them. No idea why they aren't working.
