Okay, lets get down to business. First off in order to flash these files to your tablet your going to need a driver set. Which are here. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Then you are going to need a Flasher. Yup got it too. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Now it gets personal.

Install Notes (Modded Version): I have included the proper flashing tool within the package. Turn off your device the press Vol+ and insert the USB. Run the flashing tool. Select the firmware then press "Restore", NOT UPGRADE!! As "Upgrade" does not wipe the system first. Upon completion you will boot into CWM Recovery automatically. Please the power button to reboot. It will then ask if you would like to fix root. Choose Yes. Then reboot. Now just wait for everything to load and your done!!!
Other Notes:
This will be the last Full Image Update! Everything else from this point on will be done by a CWM .zip! We now have a solid base to work with!
I'm not sure what else to do, so suggestions are welcome!
Once again I have to give a disclaimer that anything you use from this thread is at your own risk!
The items below were used throughout the growing process of this device. If you have flashed my latest modded firmware package, you should not need these. They are built-in!

Reason: Progress!
Looks like I am done modding this firmware (The wife is tired of having to redo her stuff). So unless something major comes up, well I'm done. Unless hint hint wink wink someone wants to donate a spare. :) Whelp good day everyone.

Sounds to me like what you need in order to appease the spousal unit are root access (with which you could use Titanium Backup) and/or a working CWM or TWRP recovery with which you could make a full backup.
Regardless, nice work in coming up with a working mod to the stock firmware.

Thanks, I have already created a full cwm style (.zip) rom with root and a bunch of other things. Just was stuck with the recovery image. No matter how I built CWM for this device, it soft-bricks it. Heck I have everything broke down all the way to zimages... Just something I can't find is not appealing to this device. Might look into a TWRP recovery instead. I just do not have much experience with them. But yea, recovery is the big hangup here. If I could get past it the sky would be the limit for this device.
