unfortunately my tablet is bricked due to this known JB camera bug ("unfortunately gallery has stopped"). That's why I might need help related how to deal with the system recovery mode (tablet isnt flashed yet). In some other forums I've been told that I need the firmware data but as far as I'm concerned I was just too foolish to dump it right before I bricked my S71.
So I hope you guys could help me. I'd be really grateful if somebody was able to dump the Stockrom for me :) Greetings, Tomul.

I don't mean to be rude but isn't there someone who's able to dump it?
hi bro..do you have any idea where to find the stock firmware for skyworth s71? thanks..
I guess you can't find it online since our tab isn't supported that well. Therefore there has to be someone with a rooted S71 who was able to dump it... If you find somebody, please don't forget to contact me as well. :)
edit: If anyone doesn't know how to access the Recovery Mode:
- boot the device
- press reset
- press & hold volume up before reboot
- press power after the displaying of that dying android

thanks Tomul.... that is another alternative to go to recovery.. you can also do this:
-turn off your device
-press and hold Volume+ and the power button
-skyworth logo will flash then a dead android
-multiple press on volume+ and the power button
i think this recovery is useles so far..hehehe i dont know how it works.. i made an update.zip but it aborts the installation..haist...
My Skyworth S71 3G is stuck at the Skyworth Logo. This happened after I changed the vold.fstab file with the one I downloaded from the internet in order to transfer the applications to the external SD Card. Please help. It was already rooted. No CWM recovery installed.
that's our mistake..we should have installed the CWM first..you can see the link ng Symbianize thread..maybe you have friends with a working S71.. you can ask him/her to root it, install CWM and then take a backup.. but we need an *.img backup i think..
Still no back-ups or images?
